CAUTION
If the floor mat in the Subaru Ascent shifts forward and interferes with pedal operation, it may lead to loss of control and serious accidents. Follow these safety precautions carefully.
- Always use genuine SUBARU floor mats or equivalent products specifically designed for the Subaru Ascent, with properly positioned retaining holes.
- Ensure that the driver’s floor mat is correctly aligned and securely attached to the retaining pins.
- Never stack multiple floor mats on top of each other, as this increases the risk of slippage.

In the Subaru Ascent, retaining pins are installed on the driver’s side floor to keep the mat firmly in place.
To secure the floor mat properly, align the grommets with the retaining pins and press down firmly until the mat is locked in position.
The Subaru Ascent interior features, including USB power supply systems and secure floor mat design, are engineered to enhance convenience, safety, and everyday usability for all occupants.
