The seat heater system in the Subaru Ascent operates when the ignition switch is in the "ON" position, providing additional comfort during cold weather conditions.
CAUTION
- Do not place heavy, rigid, or sharp objects on the seats of the Subaru Ascent, and avoid piercing the seat surface with items such as pins or needles, as this may damage the heating elements.
- Individuals with sensitive skin may experience mild burns even at low
temperatures when using the seat heater for extended periods.
Always inform passengers about proper use of the seat heater in the Subaru Ascent to prevent discomfort or injury.
- Avoid placing insulating materials such as blankets or cushions on the seats, as this may cause the seat heater to overheat.
- Turn off the seat heater once sufficient warmth has been achieved or before leaving the Subaru Ascent.
NOTE
- Using the seat heater in the Subaru Ascent for extended periods while the engine is not running may lead to battery discharge.
- For prolonged use, it is recommended to select the MID or LOW setting.
Use the HIGH setting only for rapid heating at the beginning of operation.
