CAUTION
- Always keep all storage compartments in the Subaru Ascent closed while driving to reduce the risk of injury during sudden braking or collisions.

Glove box

- Rotate the key clockwise to lock.
- Rotate the key counterclockwise to unlock.
To open the glove box in the Subaru Ascent, pull the handle outward. To close it, push the lid firmly until it locks into place.
NOTE
- The emergency key used in the Subaru Ascent has a specific orientation. If insertion is difficult, rotate the key and try again.
- For models equipped with keyless access and push-button start, the emergency key is used for manual locking and unlocking of the glove box.
Center console
The center console in the Subaru Ascent offers practical storage space for everyday items and also functions as a comfortable armrest for the driver and front passenger.

Cup holders

Front passenger's cup holder
The front cup holders in the Subaru Ascent are conveniently integrated into the center console for easy access.

2nd-row seat's cup holder (2nd-row captain seat models)
For captain seat configurations, the Subaru Ascent includes cup holders within the rear center console. Pull the lid to access them.

2nd-row seat's cup holder (2nd-row bench seat models)
In bench seat configurations, the cup holders are integrated into the fold-down armrest.
