How to use the lock lever

- Move the lock lever rearward to unlock the door.
- Move the lock lever forward to lock the door.
Before driving your Subaru Ascent, always ensure that all doors and the rear gate are securely closed.
A visible red indicator appears on the lock lever when the door is unlocked, providing a quick visual confirmation.
To open an unlocked door, pull the inside handle. On Subaru Ascent front doors, pulling the handle will unlock and open the door even if it is locked.

How to operate the power door locking switches
The Subaru Ascent is equipped with power door locking switches located on both the driver’s and front passenger’s doors, allowing centralized control of all locks.
