Subaru Ascent 2018-2026 Owner's Manual: Third-row seats

Subaru Ascent third row seats overview with passenger seating configuration

The Subaru Ascent third-row seating area is designed to provide комфорт, практичність і безпеку для пасажирів навіть на задніх місцях. Proper seating position and correct use of safety systems are essential for maximizing protection in the Subaru Ascent.

WARNING

Seatbelts in the Subaru Ascent provide optimal protection only when passengers sit upright with their backs firmly against the seatback. Never place cushions or any additional objects between the passenger and the seat.

Incorrect seating posture may increase the risk of sliding under the lap belt or improper belt positioning across the abdomen, which can result in serious injury or fatal consequences during a collision.

Access to the third-row seats

The Subaru Ascent is equipped with convenient access levers located on both sides of the second-row seats. These levers allow easy entry to the third-row seating area.

WARNING

When the second-row seat in the Subaru Ascent is slid forward with the seatback tilted, it is not locked and may move freely. Never drive the vehicle or allow passengers to sit in this condition.

Failure to ensure proper locking of the seat may result in serious injury or even fatal consequences during sudden braking or collision.

CAUTION

When entering or exiting the third-row seats of the Subaru Ascent, make sure the second-row seat is fully slid forward and always watch your footing to avoid slipping or injury.
