Within the Subaru Ascent Driver Monitoring System, multiple users can be registered to enable personalized recognition and convenience features. Registered profiles can also be removed when no longer needed. For detailed procedures on adding or deleting users, refer to the "Driver Monitoring System" section.
NOTE
- If the Driver Monitoring System OFF indicator, temporary stop indicator,
or warning light is active in the Subaru Ascent, user management options will
be unavailable.
- Register User
- Delete User
- Delete All Users
- All stored user data in the Subaru Ascent can also be erased by resetting
the center information display to its factory default settings.
However, this reset function is disabled when the Driver Monitoring System is turned OFF, ensuring system consistency and preventing unintended data loss.
Registering and deleting driver position personalization
When a user is registered in the Subaru Ascent, key driver-related settings such as seat position, outside mirror angle, and reverse tilt-down mirror configuration are saved simultaneously. To update or modify these parameters, refer to the "Driver Monitoring System" instructions.
NOTE
- Before starting the registration process in the Subaru Ascent, ensure that the seat position, mirror angles, and reverse tilt-down settings are already adjusted to the desired configuration. Changing these during registration may interrupt or invalidate the process.
- If the ignition switch is turned OFF before registration is fully completed, the current adjustments will not be stored in the system.
- When the user recognition feature is disabled, or when any Driver Monitoring
System warning or stop indicator is illuminated, the following options cannot
be selected:
- Update Seat and Mirror Position
- Delete Driver Position
- The Subaru Ascent allows driver position data to be registered or deleted only when a recognized user is seated in the driver’s seat and identification has been successfully completed.
